So why this blog? The answer is two-fold.

First, we want to give you, the Prince fan, information and links about the organizations he cared about. Our plan is to give you a bit more insight on them than a just basic list. The intention for this project is to make a solid list of charities from as far back as the 1990s up until his passing in April 2016, while also giving you fun tidbits about WHY he actually gave to these organizations.

And as you may have seen, we have links to Prince’s friends and collaborators charity pages as well. We will be adding more as additional charities come to fruition.

The second reason for creating this blog is that we were called to do it. We didn’t know each other before Prince passed and creating a list of charities that Prince donated to definitely wasn’t on the radar. But as we continued to talk, share and get to know each other, we realized that we had many of the same passions and were clear that we wanted to give back to Prince in a way that he would be proud of.

You now get to see what our passion for community looks like, as well as our love for the Purple One.

Our main mission for this blog is to give fans the opportunity to see all Prince’s charities in one place so you can decide, not only where to donate your money, but to also where to continue his legacy.
